APPLICATION Cut Bostik Flashband Self Adhesive Flashing Tape to the required length. Remove the backing. Press the tape into place using fingertip pressure. Avoid excessive pressure When laying adjacent rolls the tape must overlap by at least 25mm. Use a seam roller or rounded piece of wood to smooth the tape and ensure good contact is made. OVERPAINTING Bostik Flashband Self Adhesive Flashing Tape can be overpainted with conventional decorative paints, though a little staining may occur at the edges. STORAGE Store for up to 2 years from date of manufacture in a cool, dry place within the temperature range +5°C to +25°C and out of direct sunlight. Protect from frost. IMPORTANT Bostik Flashband Self Adhesive Flashing Tape may become brittle if enclosed in a cementitious mix. Contact between the foil and acidic or alkaline materials must also be avoided. Bostik Flashband Self Adhesive Flashing Tape is bituminous and must not come into contact with silicone sealant, flexible PVC or vinyl. In cold weather, application will be made easier by warming the surfaces and storing Bostik Flashband Self Adhesive Flashing Tape in a warm place prior to use. Do not apply if surface temperature is below 5°C
